Hanwell Wine Estate
Hanwell Wine Estate is a family-run vineyard in Nottinghamshire, growing grapes for sparkling and still wine that is made at a sister vineyard nearby.
Hanwell Wine Estate is a second-generation vineyard led by Helenka, whose family already had a vineyard nearby: her parents planted Eglantine Vineyard in 1975, and it is at Eglantine's winery, fifteen minutes away, that Hanwell's own grapes are still made into wine.
The estate is approximately 500 metres past the Hickling Pastures village sign, at the crest of the hill opposite Peapod nursery. The Nottsbus On Demand service stops on Melton Road, a five-minute walk along the road.
