Silkstone Vineyard

Silkstone Vineyard

Silkstone is a family-run Bacchus vineyard outside Bourne in Lincolnshire, where a tasting includes a guided walk around the vines.

Silkstone Vineyard grows a single grape and leaves the making of its wine to someone else. The family-run vineyard, in the hamlet of Cawthorpe outside Bourne in Lincolnshire, is planted only with Bacchus, a variety it chose as well suited to local conditions. Its work is viticulture, the growing of the grapes, and the vinification goes to Haygrove Evolution, a specialist contract winemaker.
