Bluestone Vineyard

Bluestone Vineyard

Bluestone is a family-run sparkling wine estate on a Wiltshire farm near Stonehenge, planted in 2016 and run on regenerative, minimal-intervention lines.

Scored 97 at the Decanter World Wine Awards 2025, the highest of any English or Welsh entry that year.

Bluestone's 10 acres were planted in 2016 by brothers Nat and Toby McConnell, after an archaeological survey of the family's Cholderton farm was shown to a friend making wine in Champagne, who identified the site as capable of exceptional sparkling wine. Nat, a biomedical scientist, and Toby, formerly in luxury yachting, planted four parcels — Three Acre, Iron Age, Roundhouse and Top Field — now grown 58% Chardonnay, 32% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier.
