Bolney Wine Estate

Bolney Wine Estate

Bolney Wine Estate is a family-founded vineyard and winery in the West Sussex village of Bolney, with vines planted since 1973.

Janet and Rodney Pratt began Bolney Wine Estate in 1972, buying the land under the name Bookers Vineyard and planting the first 1,000 vines the following year, a Muller Thurgau variety across three acres that made it the sixth commercial vineyard in England. Their daughter, Sam Linter, joined the business in 1995, and Head Winemaker Cara-Lee Dely now leads the winemaking team. The vineyard lies in the village of Bolney, West Sussex, where the Low Weald meets the edge of the South Downs.
