Brenley Vineyard
Brenley Vineyard
A historic Kent farm making a small range of its own still wine, Brenley Farm has grown grapes for other producers for nearly a decade, with no cellar door of its own yet.
Brenley Farm has been worked by the Berry family since the 1800s, and its wine is grown on land that also carries apples, pears and hops -- the produce the Garden of England is known for. The estate has been growing grapes for other winemakers for nearly a decade, and has only recently begun releasing its own wine: a still Bacchus and a still Pinot Noir rosé, from Bacchus, Pinot Meunier, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay planted on the farm. The wine labels carry a mallard duck, taken from a weathervane on one of the farm's barns that has stood since the 1800s.
