A family-run single estate in the High Weald of East Sussex, growing Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier for sparkling wine, with tastings and vineyard walks by arrangement.

The Jacobsohns are originally from Sweden and settled in England in 2011. When Douglas and Susanna bought the country house and farm at Eridge in 2014 they had no plans for a vineyard. A series of chance conversations, a long tasting of English wine and a blending workshop at Hambledon changed that. The Busi in the name is a small village in Piemonte.

Cellar door tastings

Tastings are with the owners and come with a vineyard walk. They are arranged by email, and bespoke tastings need at least six people. Open days run in July and August. Visitors to the cellar door are asked to call ahead. The site describes no walk-in tasting.
