Funghi Club at Carvers Hill

Carvers Hill Estate is the English wine venture of a family already established at Bellevue, a vineyard in Bordeaux.
Carvers Hill Estate is the English arm of a family wine business that began at Bellevue, a vineyard in Bordeaux tracing its history to a naval officer who first planted vines during the reign of Louis XV, later replanted under the guidance of Kees Van Leuen, the winemaker at Cheval Blanc, before its own first vintage in 2005. Tim Griffiths invested in Bellevue in the spring of 2008. The family's farm at Shalbourne, bought in 2007 and until then grazed by sheep on wildflower meadows, was planted with 22,000 vines across six hectares of greensand-over-chalk slopes in the spring of 2021.
No walk-in tastings, and no tasting held at a fixed spot. Every visit is a guided walk through the vineyard and winery, run on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays, with wine included.
