Elham Valley Vineyard
Elham Valley Vineyard, planted in 1985, is run by The Fifth Trust charity near Canterbury, with a café overlooking the vines and a garden centre on site.
Elham Valley Vineyard was planted in 1985, and the estate describes it as one of the first vineyards established in this part of Kent. It belongs to The Fifth Trust, a charity set up in 1990 to offer education and skills training to adults with learning disabilities, which opened its second centre at the vineyard in 1996. The grapes are tended and picked by the trust's horticulture students, alongside staff and volunteers from the local community.
Cellar door tastings
Visitors can walk the garden walkway between the vines and stop at the licensed café, which overlooks the vineyard and has seating inside and out. A self-guided tour of the vineyard runs through the seasons. The site describes no separate tasting.
