Tasting our eight wines and tour

Fleurfields Vineyard
A small hilltop vineyard overlooking Pitsford Reservoir in Northamptonshire, with booked visits that pair a tour with a tasting of its wines.
A holiday in Tuscany is where Fleur Fields began. Bill Hulme and his wife Flora came home wanting to bring a little of that life with them, and decided to grow vines. They already had the spot in mind, a south-facing meadow at the top of a hill overlooking Pitsford Reservoir. Friends and family helped them plant it on 26 December 2000, and its grapes go into both sparkling and still wines.
Visits are by appointment. The tasting comes with a tour: sparkling wine on arrival, the tour, then the other sparkling, white, rosé and red wines, in a wine room for up to 40. Visitors bring their own nibbles. The site describes no walk-in tasting and asks visitors to ring first or take pot luck.
