Goldford Wine
Goldford is a small, family-run vineyard on the sandstone ridge of Larkton Hill in Cheshire, making traditional-method sparkling wine since 2018.
Goldford sits on the slopes of Larkton Hill, on the sandstone ridge that runs through this part of South Cheshire. The Smith family planted two acres in 2018, choosing Seyval Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Chardonnay for a cool-climate site.
Visits are by appointment only, arranged by phone. A guided tour through the vines is followed by a tasting, with groups capped at twelve, so casual callers cannot be accommodated on the day.
