A regenerative vineyard in West Wales making natural wine from Solaris and Rondo, with a tour, tasting and tapas and a converted dairy barn to stay in.
No synthetic chemical has ever been used on Hebron Vineyard's vines, by the estate's own account. Jemma Vickers and Paul Rolt planted it in 2010, beneath the Preseli Hills in West Wales, after nine years converting an established vineyard in Andalucia to organic, non-intervention growing. No pesticide, herbicide, fungicide or fertiliser goes on the vines, and every vine is pruned, trained and picked by hand. In July 2024 the certifier A Greener World announced Hebron as the first vineyard in Wales and the UK to be Certified Regenerative by AGW.
Cellar door tastings
Tastings come with a booked vineyard tour, where Paul Rolt takes questions, then move to the 'Black tin shed' tasting room for the wines and tapas Jemma Vickers makes to pair with them. The site describes no walk-in tasting. Bottles can be bought at the cellar door by arrangement.
