Llaethliw Vineyard

Llaethliw Vineyard

A family-run vineyard near Aberaeron in Ceredigion, making still and sparkling wines and a cider, with a holiday cottage to book.

Llaethliw Vineyard is on the coastal plain at the foothills of the Cambrian Mountains, in Neuaddlwyd, Aberaeron, on the west coast of Wales. Richard and Siw Evans bought it in 2008. Both grew up locally, in the Teifi and Aeron valleys. The idea for a vineyard came to Richard while he was exploring ways to diversify the farm and thinking about how climate change might open new possibilities. The first 8,500 vines were planted in 2009.
