Kingsthorne grows 29 acres of vines across two Gloucestershire sites, Flaxley and Longney, on an estate that describes a history of winemaking stretching back 1,100 years.

Named English Seyval Sparkling Trophy at the International Wine Challenge 2025.

The estate describes a history of winemaking at Flaxley running back 1,100 years. Kingsthorne farms 22.5 acres of that 140-acre estate near Newnham, Gloucestershire, in deep silty loam over red Raglan mudstone, and a further 6.5 acres five miles south at Longney, where the soil turns to lime-rich clay loam over blue lias, a mudstone laid down in shallow Jurassic seas.
