Mayfield Vineyard

Mayfield Vineyard

Mayfield Vineyard is a family-run vineyard and shop on a century-old Lincolnshire farm, making sparkling, white, rosé and red wine since 2017.

Mayfield Vineyard sits on a hundred-year-old family farm near Sleaford, where fourth-generation farmer Fraser Key planted vines in 2011 after studying viticulture at the Ecole de Viticulture de Dijon. He chose Phoenix, Villaris, Bolero and Regent, varieties suited to Lincolnshire's soil and climate, and the first harvest came in 2017, with the wines reaching shops the following year under the Owl Collection name.

Fraser, the owner, leads tastings himself in the tasting room attached to the shop, with nibbles. On fine days in summer a session may move out among the vines instead.
