Plumpton College

Plumpton College

Plumpton College is the UK's Wine Centre of Excellence in East Sussex, teaching viticulture and oenology on its own ten-hectare vineyard since 1989.

Plumpton College has taught wine since 1989 and calls itself the UK's Wine Centre of Excellence, the country's main degree-granting centre for viticulture and oenology, and the base for the National Wine Training Programme delivered UK-wide. Its work was recognised with a Queen's Anniversary Prize, the highest national honour in British education, and the Duchess of Cornwall opened its Wine Research Facility in 2014.
