Setley Ridge's vines went in during the mid-1980s; Paul and Hayley bought the vineyard in 1999 and have since replanted with disease-resistant varieties, which the estate says has let it stop using non-organic pesticides and increased the wildlife sharing the site.

Wine is poured free from an open bottle at the farm shop counter, every day, with no appointment needed; a separate, bookable vineyard tour adds a walk through the vines and winery.
