Swanaford Vineyard

Swanaford is a family-run vineyard near Exeter, Devon, with an open cellar door for sparkling and still wines, guided walks and holiday cottages.

At Swanaford, 10,000 vines went into the ground in a single day, planted by a visiting team using laser-guided equipment on south-east-facing slopes in Devon's Teign Valley. Ben and Caroline Goulden had moved from London to plant them, in 2013, aiming to make English sparkling and still wine.
