The Brown Farmer Vineyard

The Brown Farmer Vineyard

The Brown Farmer is a family-run Kent vineyard rooted in the Punjabi diaspora, growing Bacchus and Pinot Noir since 2021 and selling wine as Mutiny.

The Brown Farmer family emigrated from the Punjab to Britain in the late twentieth century, working on the buses, in factories and in the armed forces before returning to the land in Kent. The estate was established in 2021 and is worked across two generations of the family alongside local Kentish labour.
