Warehorne Vineyard

Warehorne Vineyard

A family-run Kent estate on the edge of Romney Marsh, Warehorne makes still red, white and rosé wines — including a rare English red — with a weekend walk-in cellar door.

Unusually for an English producer, Warehorne makes still red wine alongside its white and rosé, using the Swiss disease-resistant variety Divico alongside more familiar grapes. The family planted their first vines in May 2020, spanning Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Pinot Meunier and Pinot Gris, and brought in the first harvest, 9.5 tonnes, by hand in 2022 with the help of friends, volunteers and neighbours.
