Biddenden Vineyards

Biddenden Vineyards

Biddenden is Kent's original vineyard, planted by the Barnes family in 1969, making white, rosé, red and sparkling wine alongside cider and juices.

Kent's original vineyard, Biddenden has been in the Barnes family since 1969, when they planted a third of an acre of vines; the first wine was bottled in 1972. It has grown since to 23 acres of gentle, south-facing slopes in a sheltered valley outside the village of Biddenden, where twelve grape varieties are grown.
