Chilworth Manor Vineyard

Chilworth Manor Vineyard

Chilworth Manor is a vineyard on a historic Surrey manor estate near Guildford, making English rosé and sparkling wine since 2017.

Chilworth Manor's roots reach back to the Domesday Book, when the manor passed from William the Conqueror to his half-brother Odo, Bishop of Bayeux, and grew into a monastic site. When the current owners arrived in 2006, they added a new layer to that history: a vineyard, established in 2013 with the wine consultant Stephen Skelton, and planted the following year with 11,000 vines.
