Autumn Market at Denbies Wine Estate

Denbies Wine Estate
Denbies is a large, well established single-estate vineyard in the Surrey Hills, with vineyard tastings, a hotel and four places to eat across the grounds.
Has taken a medal at the Decanter World Wine Awards in each of the last 3 editions.
The Denbies story began in 1986 with the first vines being planted, when the White family recognised the potential of the estate's sweeping south-facing slopes, chalk-rich soils and naturally warm microclimate. Denbies itself is older: Prince Albert visited in 1851, more than a century before the first vintage, Surrey Gold, appeared in 1993, the same year the winery was built.
The winery's visitor centre and wine shop are open to visitors all year. Tastings and tours are sold through an online ticketing page, and the site recommends pre-booking any wine tour. A seated indoor tasting includes a guide talking through the vineyard and the process behind each wine.
Indoor Wine Tasting Experience
The site warns of a bridge height restriction of 11ft 10in, and for coaches collection from the bridge can be arranged at the time of booking. From the main car park, signs lead to the Visitor Centre, and the Wine & Gift Shop is on the right just inside.
