Digby Fine English

Digby Fine English

Digby Fine English blends sparkling wine from vineyards across four counties, poured from a Grade II listed townhouse wine bar in the middle of Arundel.

Digby Fine English blends grapes bought from a portfolio of vineyards across Kent, Sussex, Hampshire and Dorset, built on the négociant model rather than a single estate. Trevor Clough and Jason Humphries named the business for Sir Kenelm Digby, credited as the designer of the first wine bottle sturdy enough to replace the barrel for storage and transport — without which, by the estate's own account, bottle-fermented sparkling wine would not have been possible.

Cellar door tastings

Walk in for wine by the glass and a snack menu in the wine bar, no booking needed, or book a guided tasting through five Digby sparkling wines instead, 60-90 minutes with tasting notes from the team.
