Heron Farm Vineyard

Heron Farm is a 17-acre vineyard and farm near Honiton in Devon, founded by food writer Mark Diacono, with a restaurant and guided vineyard tours.

Heron Farm's 17 acres run alongside the River Otter, growing an unusual mix of crops beside the vines: medlars, quinces, pecans and Sichuan pepper next to roughly 3,000 vines of Solaris, Pinot Noir and Seyval Blanc. The Sichuan pepper goes into the farm's own MaLa gin. Food writer Mark Diacono founded the farm and chose the planting.
