Humbleyard Vineyard

Humbleyard Vineyard

Humbleyard is a Norfolk vineyard whose wines, made at two well-known English wineries, are sold from the family's own farm shop near Mulbarton.

Humbleyard takes its name from the Humbleyard Hundred, the Anglo-Saxon court that once met monthly in the valley below the vines. The family chose the south-facing slope after thirty-five years growing early-ripening soft fruit on the same ground, which they found warm, well-drained and largely frost-free.

The wines are sold walk-in from the family's own farm shop, alongside the farm's other produce. No sit-down tastings. Staff can point visitors to a ten-minute walk down to the vines, though the vineyard itself is not always open to see.
