The Cornish Vineyard is the work of Chris and Kelly Gaisford, who are raising 14,136 vines, and two children, on coastal land near Truro. Neither of them inherited a vineyard or a winemaking tradition - they built this one themselves, tended by hand, by their own small tractor, and by friends and a wider community who turned up to help before there was a single bottle to show for it.
