The Grange

The Grange

The Grange is a family-run vineyard and winery on Hampshire's Itchen valley, making sparkling and still wine from vines planted in 2011.

Four siblings planted The Grange's vineyard in 2011, on a south-facing slope above the River Itchen that their family had farmed for generations. The vines grow on Burges Field, where a thin cap of gravelly clay lies over a deep chalk seam studded with flint. The chalk holds winter rain through to summer, and gives the Chardonnay its mineral edge. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier are planted across the site.
