Cheese and wine tasting
On request

The Wharie Experience is a small, still-wine vineyard and orchard near Lymington, growing disease-resistant grape varieties rare in England.
Guillaume Lagger is a Swiss oenologist who came to live at his wife's family farm near Lymington during his studies, and decided to plant a two-hectare vineyard and orchard there instead of returning home. He still runs it alone, cultivating the vines with as few inputs as possible and setting himself no rules for the wine.
Visits are by appointment, led by Lagger himself: a walk through the vineyard and orchard before a tasting of the wines, alone or paired with a local cheese board. Groups run 2 to 10, larger by arrangement.
