Bantham Estate – Lower Aunmouth Vineyard

Bantham Vineyard grows Pinot Gris, Pinot Noir and Chardonnay beside the Avon estuary in Devon, and pours its wine from a horse box bar at Bantham beach.

Bantham Vineyard lies on the banks of the River Avon, above Bantham Beach in the South Hams. It was planted in May 2021 on south-facing slopes beside the estuary, and holds more than 27,000 vines of Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay and two further Pinot varieties. The vineyard is one part of the 728-acre Bantham Estate, which also takes in farmland, woodland, grassland, sand dunes and the beach itself.
