Tamar Valley Vineyard sits on the Devon bank of the river Tamar, with wine by the glass on Fridays and Sundays looking out over the water to Cornwall.
Tamar Valley Vineyard looks out from the Devon side of the river Tamar across to Cornwall, with Brunel's railway bridge and the Cotehele Estate visible along the water. It was planted with Madeleine Angevine, a grape suited to cooler climates, and now grows around 1,400 vines of it.
Wine by the glass, overlooking the river, every Friday and Sunday from noon to 3pm, no booking needed. A cheese and charcuterie platter can be booked to go with it, and extra dates are sometimes posted on social media.
