Brabourne Vineyard

Brabourne Vineyard

Brabourne Vineyard is a two-acre, family-run vineyard near Ashford, Kent, whose grapes are made into wine by a named partner at Oxney Wine Estate.

Brabourne Vineyard's tasting room is a Nissen hut, retrieved after WW2 by three women who ran a market garden, orchard and poultry farm from the same site — their produce reputedly reached Buckingham Palace. Two acres of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay now grow on the chalk slope behind it, planted in 2014 on ground with written history reaching back to the will of Salburga, Lady of Brabourne, who died in 864.
