Gorsley Vineyard

Gorsley Vineyard

Gorsley is a small, family-run vineyard on a chalk slope near Canterbury, Kent, making sparkling and still wine since 2019.

Before Gorsley was a vineyard, the field was grazed by a herd of alpacas, and their outline still appears on every bottle the estate sells. The Lark family planted the vines in 2017, and Simon and Lou took over in 2025, after buying Gorsley House, keeping the vineyard in family hands.

A guided walk through the vines, about twenty minutes, is followed by a tasting of the current range in the vineyard. An Open Day lets visitors bring a picnic and taste among the vines instead, self-guided. Both are booked in advance and neither runs to a fixed weekly schedule.
