Dedham Vale Vineyard is a 40-acre Essex estate on the Constable landscape, offering a guided vineyard tour, wine tasting and two lakeside cottages to stay in.
Dedham Vale Vineyard is a 40-acre estate on the Essex-Suffolk border, inspired by the landscapes Constable painted nearby. The estate was originally known for its cider before its owners turned it over to vines, planting Bacchus, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Dornfelder and Orion. In 2026 it relaunched under a new identity drawing on Constable's own brushwork, marking the change with an exhibition that brought together more than fifty regional artists among the vines.
