Deer Park

Deer Park

Deer Park is a three-generation Worcestershire farm on Bredon Hill, now growing Pinot Noir and Chardonnay for wine alongside its cattle, sheep and deer.

Deer Park is the newest use of a Worcestershire farm that has been in the Steele family for three generations, on the northern flank of Bredon Hill. Mark Steele studied biology at Oxford before returning to run the mixed farm and, being involved in several local wine societies, started the vineyard with the help of friends. The first vine went into the ground in 2016. Three plots on the hill now carry 5,000 vines, in fields next to a Woodhenge, a Roman fort and a Bronze Age settlement.
