Langham Wine Estate

Langham Wine Estate

Langham is a chalk-soil vineyard and winery near Dorchester, Dorset, making traditional-method sparkling wine in a low-intervention style.

Langham's 34-hectare vineyard sits on Crawthorne Farm, on 300 metres of belemnitic Cretaceous chalk that the estate compares to Champagne's Côte des Blancs. The chalk drains fast after rain and gives water back in dry spells, and it carries the Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier that go into the sparkling wines.
