Pattingham Vineyard

Pattingham Vineyard

In the Staffordshire village of Pattingham, this family-run vineyard has a walk-in wine flight and coffee shop.

Each of Pattingham Vineyard's four plantings has become its own named wine, tied to a local landmark — Nurton Brook, Moor Meadow, Rudge Heath, Great Moor. The vineyard began in 2018, after the family who live next door bought the sandy, spring-fed slope in 2016 and found it had never been treated with chemicals. Three of the varieties planted, Divico, Solaris and Rondo, are PIWI types bred to resist disease with little spraying, and every wine the vineyard makes is vegan.

The Wine Flight is a walk-in, no-appointment tasting of four still wines chosen off the menu at SIP. A separate, bookable vineyard tour also runs, with its own guided walk and tasting.
