Roebuck Estate
Roebuck Estates farms six vineyard parcels across West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent, making vintage-only traditional method sparkling wine.
Roebuck Estates farms six vineyard parcels across West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent, from the home vineyard near Tillington, planted in 2006 on greensand, to Chalkhill Blue in Kent, the newest, named for the butterfly found there and planted on chalk. Two friends bought the first of these plots in 2013, and the vines are now split into 70 individually tracked blocks, monitored through software called Sectormentor.
Walk-in glasses, bottles or a guided flight of the estate's vintage wines at The View, the tasting spot at the top of the vineyard, Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm, no booking needed. The terrain is uneven, so it isn't accessible for visitors with mobility issues.
