Woodchurch Wine Estate

Woodchurch Wine Estate

Woodchurch Wine Estate is a Kent vineyard near Ashford making award-winning sparkling and still wine, with a bar, wine flights and stone-baked pizza overlooking the vines.

Four friends — Kelly and John Smith, Donna and Darren Worsley — took over Woodchurch Wine Estate in April 2026, more than a decade after founders Graham and Donna Barbour bought the land in October 2009 and planted ten thousand vines the following May. The field, just outside the village of Woodchurch, had previously been used for grazing sheep, and the first wine was released in 2015. A visitor centre followed in 2018.
