Abingworth Vineyard

Abingworth Vineyard

Abingworth is a family-run vineyard near Pulborough, West Sussex, started in 2021 by Chris and Caroline Stedman and their four daughters.

Named Best Newcomer at the WineGB Awards 2026.

Abingworth's vines grow in the foothills of the South Downs, on the gently sloping, south-facing fields of the centuries-old Champions Farm. Chris and Caroline Stedman started the vineyard in 2021, after leaving London during the Covid-19 pandemic to build something Chris had been drawn to since years spent living in France, and planted the first vines in 2022.
