Nyetimber

Nyetimber

Nyetimber is a sparkling wine estate in West Chiltington, West Sussex, growing all its own grapes and receiving visitors on ticketed open days and dinners.

Named IWC Champion Sparkling Wine 2025 (Daniel Thibault Trophy) at the International Wine Challenge 2025.

Nyetimber is named in the Domesday Book of 1086, as the valley of Nitimbreha, and the estate's prestige cuvée takes that year as its name. The first 1086 by Nyetimber was made from the 2009 vintage. The vines are far younger than the name. Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier were first planted here in 1988, in the lee of the South Downs.
